AL AHLI reached the final of the Bahrain Premier Division Volleyball League for the first time, beating Dar Kulaib 25-20, 25-17, 26-24 at the Juffair Youth Centre last night. Bahrain's national team star Sadeq Ebrahim made the most of scoring and guided Al Ahli to a narrow victory as they stayed on course to win their first-ever volleyball title.
Ebrahim, who joined Al Ahli from defending champions Al Nasser earlier in the season, has been inspirational for his new club this year. Other contributions came from their new-signing Greek Petros Petroglou who was also at the peak of his form.
