DSG International has failed to relaunch its new ecommerce platform for its Currys, Dixons and PC World brands six months after it was due.
The delay is a blow to DSGI's five-point Renewal & Transformation business plan laid out in May 2008 to boost the troubled retailer's fortunes.
DSGI CEO John Browett committed to roll out French electrical retailer Pixmania's ecommerce platform, which it acquired for E266m in April 2006, across its retailers' sites by November 2008.
