Article: It seemed a reasonable enough question. I was lost. I needed help: "Do you speak English?" But the man shook his head, turned and quickly walked in the opposite direction. I was desperate so I gave chase. "Just point," I begged as I followed, pushing the map in front of him. But the more I begged and pointed at the map, the quicker he walked and tried to ignore my presence.
