Columbia/HCA Healthcare Corp.'s Ohio growth strategy has unraveled at the seams, as seen in its failure last week to close a key downstate deal and its loss of two top executives here.
While the much-publicized federal investigation into allegations of Medicare fraud by the Nashville-based giant hasn't reached its hospitals and clinics here, the fallout nonetheless is raining down in the Buckeye State.
