The answer to how can I get started without a grubstake is very simple. You just do it!
I realize that sounds a bit simplistic, but that is the answer.
For years I just thought and planned and dreamed. I allowed a former spouse to sidetrack my dreams. I allowed a job I hated and a lot of little excuses to keep me from achieving any hope of success. Then one day in the depths of divorce, debt and depression, I decided, why not? What did I have to lose? I could be alone, depressed and broke anywhere, so I might as well be someplace I wanted to be and doing what I wanted to.
That very day I finally decided to just do it. I wasn't going to wait ...
