Adult day centers strive to be post acute cares missing link
When Lynne Perry took a position last fall in the long-term-care industry after more than a dozen years in acute-care administration, the fragmentation of the delivery system surprised her.
While the medical center serves as the center of the acute-care system, she observes, the post-acute world lacks a comparable hub.
