Article: Arrowleaf Project Is Environmentally Sensitive; Judge's Ruling Allows Methow Valley Project to Proceed

WENATCHEE, Wash., Dec. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Chelan County Superior Court Judge Carol Wardell confirmed this week that the proposed Arrowleaf planned destination resort in Okanogan County meets nearly all of the challenges raised by the citizens group to the project's Environmental Impact Statement.

In a statement of findings handed down Monday, Judge Wardell rejected 30 of the 32 challenges to the EIS by the Methow Valley Citizens Council. In particular, she eliminated challenges from the citizens council on environmental impacts from the proposed resort on air quality and mule deer migration.
