SAN FRANCISCO -- Two-thirds of dermatologists are seeing more adult acne patients than a year ago, according to a national Harris Interactive poll.
The survey found that adults comprise 46% of dermatologists' acne patients, and many of these affected adults find the skin disease to be a major stressor negatively affecting multiple aspects of their lives, Dr. Alan B. Fleischer Jr. said in presenting highlights of the survey at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology.
