A group of teachers from Texas are preparing for the trip of a lifetime to the tiny Arab Emirate of Qatar in the Persian Gulf. The group is a mix of high school, community college and university educators who applied to a new program called TEACH. Teachers Educating Across Cultures (TEACH) is a fellowship sponsored by the Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce (BUSACC) www.bilateralchamber.org, an organization dedicated to fostering mutual respect and understanding between the U.S. and Middle East and North Africa through trade.
