Advanced Power Projects, Inc. (POWER) announces the successful demonstration of its Simplified Combined Cycle (SCC) using the Cheng Power Systems CLN® technology on a GE LM2500 PE combustion gas turbine. The tests were conducted at the Calpine Corporation-operated Agnews Power Plant in San Jose, California, and were primarily funded by StatoilHydro.
CLN® is a cost-effective emission control technology that simultaneously reduces both NOx and greenhouse gas (CO2), as well as provides energy savings.
