The Dodgers' seven-week audition for their fifth starter job continues this afternoon in Tucson, Ariz., against the Colorado Rockies after Wednesday's candidates - Eric Stults and Claudio Vargas - turned in underwhelming performances in a 12-8 loss to the Milwaukee Brewers at Maryvale Ballpark.
Today, James McDonald and Eric Milton will try to leave manager Joe Torre with more to say about his starting pitching than Wednesday's "Ehh."
Stults looked strong for two innings, but fell apart in the third.
