Capitol Hill Main Street expects approval in early June for the area in south Oklahoma City to become a Business Improvement District. We are in the final stages of establishing the district, said Jeri Montgomery, executive director of Capitol Hill Main Street. The City Council is expected to finalize the approval process on June 2. Capitol Hill Main Street plans to begin new projects immediately to promote the area. An area creating a Business Improvement District can commit revenue to improving general appearances, including cleaning sidewalks or public landscaping.
