Regulator's response to bank crisis dismissed as deficient
THE response of the Financial Regulator to the banking collapse has been deficient, a group that advises the regulator has said in a new report.
In a damning report, the Consumer Panel of the Financial Regulator questions why officials in the regulator's office did not move to dampen down the housing bubble at an earlier stage.
