Shahdol, MP,. Ma -- In times of global recession, Apna Kosh, a bank formed by villagers of tribal-dominated Mahroi village in this district of Madhya Pradesh, is giving respite to the needy by providing loans on low interest.
Apna Kosh was set up with an aim to free people, especially the Baiga, Gond and Agaria tribes in the village, from the burden of petty loans that acquired giant shapes after huge interests.
