COMMERCIAL buyers underpinned trade for 27 Simmentals at the North East Simmental Society's sale at Thirsk.
The top price was 2,250gns realised for a Popes Laird son, Moorside Voltage, from John and Gill Smith's Moorside herd, Pickering, Yorkshire. It sold to the show judge, Richard Elliot, Tadcaster, Yorkshire.
