from BUSINESS LINE, May 26, 2009 Mumbai, May 25 - Jain Irrigation plans to expand the profile of dehydrated vegetable business by adding carrot, capsicum, green peas and leek following good export order from dehydrated onions and garlic.
Mr Anil B. Jain, Managing Director, Jain Irrigation, said: "The response for dehydrated onion and garlic in the international markets has been very encouraging. Eventually, we will add more vegetables carrot, capsicum, green peas and leek." The company has onion dehydration capacity of 16,000 tonnes a year in India and 12,000 tonnes in the US.
