Exam markers will hold discussions to unify standards and reduce discrepancies before they check examination papers for liberal studies, the Examinations and Assessment Authority says.

Liberal studies is a new core subject under the new secondary 3-3-4 education system, and officials are concerned that different teachers will have varying standards in marking open-ended questions.
