KUALA LUMPUR: Police investigation has indicated that the Deva Gang was responsible for the RM8.24 million cash-in-transit van robbery at a shopping centre in Cheras here earlier this week. According to sources, the robbery was led by one of the gang's henchmen who escaped a police dragnet targeting the group three years ago. He is believed to be joined by another of the gang's leaders who was newly released from a detention centre. Police are also looking for an employee of Mahmood Security who quit recently after working for a few months.
