The president [Viktor Yushchenko] will not surrender his ministers in the cabinet.
Yushchenko will not submit a request for the resignation of Defence Minister Yuriy Yekhanurov. Yushchenko said this during his visit to Zhytomyr Region. He said that he saw no signs of crime in Yekhanurov's activity.
Yushchenko said that the Prosecutor-General's Office should investigate into the situation.
This was Yushchenko's reaction to Prime Minister Yuliya Tymoshenko's demand to submit a request for Yekhanurov's dismissal.
