Commander of the military Joint Task Force (JTF) in the Niger Delta, Major-General Sakin Yaki Bello, has denied that a Lieutenant-Colonel was killed in the ongoing face-off between his men and militants in the creeks of the region.
Speaking with newsmen in Effurun, Warri yesterday, Bello, however, admitted that 18 JTF personnel were still missing as a result of the military offensive against the militants in Oporoza, Okerenkoko, Kukudiagbene and other communities in Gbaramatu Kingdom of Delta State.
