The Federal Government yesterday said it plans to develop three modern grazing reserves in Katsina, Bauchi and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, in its drive towards commercialisation of agriculture and increased supply of protein to Nigerians.
Minister of Agriculture, Dr Sayyadi Ruma, who said this in Safana Council area of Katsina State, said the objective of the grazing reserve is to settle pastoral Fulani cattle owners who roam about with often resultant conflicts with crop farmers.
