THE SHOW almost did not go on for a group of amateur Birmingham actors rehearsing a play with a cheeky title.
The Billesley Players have been rehearsing a less well-known Noel Coward classic, Nude with Violin, since January, due to open at the Old Rep Theatre next week.
The 14-strong cast first encountered difficulties when trying to send out promotional emails. Actor Gemma Harris said: "Many computer firewalls would pick up on the word 'nude' and block the emails getting through. It's been frustrating because the show has nothing to due with nudity and is not offensive in any way. It's based on the world of modern art and ...
