THE SHOW almost did not go on for a group of amateur Birmingham actors rehearsing a play with a cheeky title.

The Billesley Players have been rehearsing a less well-known Noel Coward classic, Nude with Violin, since January, due to open at the Old Rep Theatre next week.

The 14-strong cast first encountered difficulties when trying to send out promotional emails.
