A BAHRAINI law student has won BD500,000 in a bank promotion.
Aqeelah Jaffar Al Jamri will receive a fixed income of BD2,000 for the next 250 months after her name came up in the Ahli United Bank's MyHassad Grand Salary For Life savings scheme.
She was presented with her first instalment during a ceremony held at the bank's Seef headquarters.
Ms Al Jamri, who was accompanied by her fiance, said she was surprised and thrilled with the unexpected win.
"The timing of winning this prize couldn't have been more perfect," she told the GDN.
