Vampire bats are mammals that live in Mexico and Central and South America. They look a lot like other bats with their small brown bodies, pointy ears, and little feet with sharp claws. Vampire bats have a wrinkled patch of skin near their noses called a nose leaf. It's called a nose leaf because of the way the layers of skin look.
