New, Delhi,. Ma -- Dubai-based Emirates airline today announced that it will expand its India operation by adding 22 weekly flights by this year-end.
The existing 163 flights per week to 10 Indian gateways will be strengthened to 185 over the summer and winter periods, with Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram to be the chief beneficiaries, Emirates Vice-President Orhan Abbas said in a statement.
Of these 22 flights, Ahmedabad will have six, Kolkata and Kozikode five each, Thiruvananthapuram four and Chennai two.
