DRAMATIC designs for a new pounds 1.5 million square at the heart of Birmingham's historic Jewellery Quarter have been unveiled.
A design by Birminghambased architects Capita Lovejoy was chosen by a judging panel headed up by Birmingham City Council after the public was asked to help choose which of six proposals should get the go-ahead.
It is hoped that the space, known as the "golden square" will provide a focal point for visitors and shoppers as well as a space to hold events and markets..
