K&N's permanent air filter does more than clean
Dirt is a terrible destroyer of engine parts, which is why filters are so important. When you change your oil, you usually change the oil filter. It's often recommended that air filters be changed with every other oil change. I like to switch both oil and air filters at each oil change.
The filters I refer to are called "disposable" filters. Because they're made of paper, they clog up; and when they do, neither oil nor air can flow through them.
Permanent oil filters have not had much success over the years; but permanent air filters have, especially those made by K&N Engineering. Whereas disposable air ...
