BEANS--Dry Edible Bean market activity remained slow this week, with supplies not readily clearing the market channels. Demand continues to be light, with demand from Mexico backing off in recent weeks due to delayed shipments. Grower levels were steady but scarce. Many farmers are anticipating planting, but wet conditions have slowed progress. All prices quoted on limited trading.
PEAS AND LENTILS--Trading activity remained slow this week. Green and yellow peas were not established. Lentil prices were steady to firm. North Dakota Green peas were not established and Lentils were mostly steady to $1.50 higher. Export demand was light to moderate after several ...
