STRAWBERRIES--For the week of May 9, 19.3 million-lbs. of freezer berries from California were delivered to processors, bringing the year-to-date total to 93.1 million-lbs. That is up from 77.6 million-lbs. from the same week in 2008, according to the Processing Strawberry Advisory Board of California.

IQF Large California strawberries in 30-lb pails are 72 cents per pound and Medium California strawberries are 73 cent per pound for the 2009 crop.
