After two seasons out west as a member of the Seattle Mariners' organization, Southbridge native Keith Renaud finds himself back in New England, playing for the Can-Am League's American Defenders of New Hampshire to begin the 2009 season.
The Mariners drafted the former Southbridge High and Franklin Pierce University standout in the 10th round of the draft two summers ago. Renaud was solid in his first season as a pro, with a 2-0 record and 3.50 ERA in 18 appearances (16 in relief) for the Class A Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
