PERQUIMANS COUNTY | The Albemarle Community Trust, funded by Albemarle Electric Membership Corp. members, has donated a $5,000 grant to the Food Bank of the Albemarle. The donation will make it possible to buy 25,000 pounds of food.
The funds are from members who agree to have their bills rounded up to the nearest dollar each month.

Barker, a Peru native, works in admission and registration . She has lived on the Outer Banks for nine years.
