I realized last week that in the almost 22 years I've been in Israel, I had never been to the Tel Aviv University campus. Located in north Tel Aviv, just a stone's throw from my sister-in-law's apartment in Ramat Aviv Gimel, a highly desirable and pricey section of the city, the university is well respected for its schools of law, medicine, engineering and other faculties that draw an international student body.
Ilan graduated from TAU with a degree in economics during the period of our courtship, and I am now wondering why I had never had any instance to meet him there. But I finally visited the campus for the very first time ...
