PHILADELPHIA - In an expected transfer of power at one of the nations biggest MSOs, Comcast Corp. last week disclosed that chairman Ralph Roberts has transferred voting control of the company to his son, company president Brian Roberts.

Comcast said Ralph Roberts transferred control of the 8.8 million supervoting Class B shares held by the family's holding company, Sural Corp., to Brian Roberts. Sural has 82 percent of voting power in the company.
