Sales are gradually picking up at lubricants producer Alhamrani-Fuchs Petroleum Saudi Arabia's plant after a dismal fourth-quarter 2008 when business was down by 30 to 35 per cent compared with the previous quarter, the company reports.
The Jeddah-based company, whose Saudi plant is in Yanbu, also reports it will go ahead with the opening of two new overseas production facilities in Jordan and Egypt. Alhamrani-Fuchs last year upgraded its warehouse and tank storage capacities. It built its third warehouse of 3,400 sq m, taking total warehouse storage to 10,000 sq m, and erected its fifth tank to take total tank storage capacity to 5,500 tonnes.
