Kochi, May. 30 -- As many as 80 cadets, including nine assistant commandants from the Indian Coast Guard (ICG), participated in an impressive passing- out parade on the successful completion of their 'afloat training' on board the First Training Squadron here today.
The Parade was reviewed by Southern Naval Command Chief of Staff Rear Admiral H C S Bisht.
The First Training Squadron, comprising ships of INS Tir, INS Krishna, INS Tarangini and ICG ship Varuna, was commanded by Captain Rajiv Mehta.
Rear Admiral Bisht in his address reminded the cadets that professional learning should be a life long process.
