Raipur, May. 31 -- An executive engineer, posted in the Chhattisgarh Urban Administration Directorate, here was suspended from his job after being found involved in gross financial irregularities.
Mr M A Haniffi was taken to task on the direction of state Urban Administration Minister Rajesh Munat, who had earlier ordered a probe into complaints of financial irregularities against the engineer during his earlier tenure as the Bilaspur Municipal Commissioner.
The inquiry conducted by Bilaspur District Collector Sonmani Borah found the former municiapal commissioner guilty of violating his financial power, encroaching upon the power of Bilaspur ...
