Article: Air Methods Corporation Announces New Contract With Flagstaff Medical Center

DENVER, Dec. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Air Methods Corporation (Nasdaq: AIRM) today announced the signing of a contract to provide helicopter medical transportation services for Flagstaff Medical Center's 'Guardian Air' program headquartered in Flagstaff, Arizona. This three year contract provides for Air Methods to begin services with a Bell 206L-3 in February, 1998 until such time as that aircraft is replaced with a Bell 407. It also makes provision for an additional helicopter when needed. The assigned helicopter(s) will meet the significant emergency transportation needs of central and northern Arizona.
