Hyderabad, June 1 -- Movement of trains on the Begumpet- Vikarabad route was affected for more than three hours after four wagons of a goods train derailed near the Sanathnagar railway station on Sunday morning. Three Express trains and a similar number of passenger trains were halted at various places and the passengers were transported to the city by buses.
Four Sugar-loaded wagons of a goods train coming from Bidar to Hyderabad derailed near Sanathnagar at around 8.30 am. The derailment took place when the train was moving to the loopline from the main tracks, railway officials said.
