Flexible Low Voltage Device Decreases Board Space, Reduces Costs
Philips Semiconductors today announced the first low-voltage, high-power, single-chip audio power amplifier to feature a fully integrated, push-button operated, digital volume control.
The new device (TDA8551) will reduce design costs associated with tenuator output control by reducing the number of components and decreasing board space. The TDA8551 is also very flexible and is suitable for use in a vast range of applications, including hands-free telephones, pocket radios, headphone amplifiers, walkie-talkies, video ...
