But the Gower peninsula is in danger of losing its glorious natural charms, according to its newly appointed ranger.
Huw Lloyd. the Gower's sole dedicated ranger, said he spent last weekend alongside National Trust staff clearing up waste left behind by people camping illegally in several parts of Britain's first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
