ANYONE looking for a recovery in the stock market should be encouraged by its performance over the past six months.
From a low of 3,500 points in March, the FTSE 100 has continued to climb steadily - save a slight blip in the early part of last month - and now stands at around 4,500, its strongest position since November last year.
However, even though market watchers continue to speak optimistically about recovery, stock pickers remain extremely cautious.
