HOHHOT, June 3 Asia Pulse - China will create quality safety standards for dairy products in the second half of 2009 to ensure quality and the healthy development of the dairy industry, a global dairy farmers forum was told on Tuesday in the capital of Inner Mongolia.
China Dairy Industry Association chairman Song Kungang said the standards would cover 96 items, including 15 product standards, four production norms, 63 physical-chemical testing methods, and 14 microorganism testing methods.
