NEW YORK -- G-III Apparel Group, Ltd. (NasdaqGS: GIII) today announced operating results for the first quarter of fiscal 2010. For the quarter ended April 30, 2009, G-III reported that net sales increased by 53.8% to $115.9 million from $75.4 million in the year-ago period. The Company's net loss for the quarter was $0.41 per share compared to a net loss per share of $0.42 in the prior comparable period.
