SUFFOLK - Susie Annie Graves Jackson, 86, of the 5600 block of Godwin Blvd., was called home to rest May 30, 2009.
A native of Nansemond County, she was the daughter of the late Vernon Graves Sr. and Sue M. Graves and the widow of Joseph L. Jackson Sr. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Florine Graves; two sisters and five brothers.
Mrs. Jackson attended the Nansemond County public schools and the School of Nursing, Newport News. She was also a graduate of the New Mount Joy Evangelist School of Ministry.
