DENVER, Colo., Dec. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Taubman Centers, Inc. (NYSE: TCO) and Nordstrom (Nasdaq: NOBE) announced today that Nordstrom will join the anchor lineup at Denver's Cherry Creek shopping center. The new 200,000 square foot store is scheduled to open in the spring of 2001.
"We believe Cherry Creek mall offers an outstanding mix of tenants and is one of the premier shopping centers, not just in the Rocky Mountain region but nationally as well," said Tim Gary, Rocky Mountain regional manager for Nordstrom. "Our new store at Cherry Creek will complement our other stores in the greater Denver area where we hope to become the hometown store."
