Jose A. "Tony" Soegaard Jr., president of Penmar Industries in Norwalk, CT, USA, died unexpectedly on April 2. He was the husband of Libby Soegaard and the father of two sons, Jose and Javier. He was 52 years old.

Soegaard took the helm at Penmar in 1992, after a decade of service with the company under founder James R. Penders. The company is an ISO 9001:2000 certified label converter as well as a supplier of packaging materials and tapes. A champion of Lean Manufacturing, Soegaard worked to grow Penmar into a diverse company with a dedicated team of professionals, expanding the company's capabilities and assets.
