Access Pharmaceuticals Inc., of Dallas, said new Thiarabine preclinical efficacy data will be published demonstrating that combined with clofarabine it provides much greater antitumor activity than achieved by either agent alone. In one colorectal cancer model, 66 percent of mice were cured of their tumors. The data will appear in the journal Cancer Chemotherapy and Pharmacology.
Antares Pharma Inc., of Ewing, N.J., received notice from the NYSE Amex LLC that the company is not in compliance with the minimum stockholders' equity requirements for continued listing. The company must submit a plan by July 1 to regain compliance.
