This directory features information on local and regional programs designed to retrain Michigan's workforce. Funding for many comes from the federal stimulus plan, American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, via programs such as Michigan Department of Energy, Labor and Economic Growth's No Worker Left Behind, which provides $5,000 a year, for up to two years, of tuition and education-related costs at any Michigan college, university or approved training program.
