MaxID, a rugged mobile computer company, announced the integration of Animetrics face recognition into the iDLMax, a handheld identity management device. The iDLMax is the first commercially-available mobile computing device to incorporate Animetric's superior 2D-to-3D face biometric technology (see also MaxID Corp).
The iDLMax's camera and light source provides the mobile face camera for Animetrics thin-client application, Animetrics90 MobileID, which communicates seamlessly with Animetrics server based FIMS (Facial Identity Management System.)
