The UC Santa Barbara Institute for Energy Efficiency announced that it will offer a live Webcast of the town hall meeting event at its inaugural Santa Barbara Summit on Energy Efficiency, May 20-21. Taking place at 11:00 a.m. PDT (2:00 p.m. EDT) on Thursday, May 21, the 75-minute interactive panel discussion -- Policy and Technology: Conflict or Synergy? -- will feature Randy Komisar, partner at Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers; Arun Majumdar, director of the Environmental Energy Technologies Division at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory; and J. Michael McQuade, senior vice president for science and technology at United Technologies.
